We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Structural Drafter to join our Civil and Structural Engineering team. This role involves providing consultancy services and developing engineering solutions for clients in sectors such as infrastructure industry and mining. You will work closely with our highly skilled multidisciplinary teams across the organization and with our clients delivering projects efficiently and providing high-value consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and contribute to the execution of industrial and infrastructure projects at different stages of engineering development.
- Prepare technical documentation including Structural Design Reports Design Criteria or Design Bases Technical Specifications Material Take-Off Technical Reports and other project-related deliverables.
- Develop and support the formulation of design concepts and approaches using advanced 3D modelling software and tools.
- Lead and coordinate the structural discipline in minor projects ensuring technical and financial compliance and meeting internal and client-agreed deadlines as required.
- Participate in site visits to gather background information assess project areas and infrastructure and inspect the integrity of existing structures as required.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary and cooperative environment to develop engineering deliverables aligned with client requirements and expectations.
- Work closely with colleagues from other disciplines and project stakeholders.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualification: Degree in Structural Engineering mandatory.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2) mandatory.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1) preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience.
- Experience in steel/concrete structural design.
- Experience in mining projects (>3 years) preferred.
- Proven expertise in seismic analysis and earthquake-resistant design of industrial infrastructure and facilities preferably in mining.
- Experience in rehabilitation seismic retrofit and modification of existing structures desirable.
- Experience in bridge and/or port design desirable.
- Experience in subway and/or railway design desirable.
- Familiarity with BIM platforms and methodology.
- Advanced proficiency in Robot Structural Analysis and/or SAP2000 mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in ETABS and SAFE desirable.
- Intermediate proficiency in earthworks and roads design desirable.
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Navisworks and ACC desirable.
