Job Summary

Job Title: Paraprofessional Public Middle School
Location: Lapeer County MI
Job Type: Full-Time School Year
Salary: Competitive based on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students and teachers in a public middle school setting. This role provides academic and behavioral support assists with classroom management and helps create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation
Support individual and small groups of students with academic or behavioral needs
Help maintain a safe organized and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
Assist with instructional materials technology and classroom resources
Support students during transitions lunch and other school activities

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree or coursework in education preferred
Experience working with children in an educational childcare or mentoring setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers staff and students
Patience adaptability and a commitment to student success
