Internal Medicine Physician (Inpatient) opportunity in Fort Wayne IN

Great opportunity for a full-time (5 days per week) inpatient rehab physician (internal medicine background) to do rounding in an inpatient rehab facility in the Fort Wayne Indiana area.

Perform internal medicine (IM) care in an inpatient rehab setting
Manage chronic disease diagnose illnesses and medical conditions and implement plan of care
Order and interpret lab results
Prescribe and monitor medications
Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions
Promote healthy lifestyle changes

Requirements:

1 years internal medicine (IM) experience required
Direct IRF care experience a plus but not required
Active and unrestricted Indiana license
Active and unrestricted Indiana DEA with prescriptive authority
