Job Summary
CNA:Provide medical support to students with complex medical needs in a public school setting Monitor and document students health status and communicate any concerns to the school nurse and special education students with personal care needs including toileting feeding mobility and Individualized Education Plans Support special education staff with the organization and implementation of individualized schedules and with educators therapists and instructional assistants to ensure smooth daily transitions and consistent support for accurate health and scheduling records in compliance with school and state in IEP meetings and student care team discussions when lift and transfer students (up to 35 pounds) as needed for positioning toileting hygiene and mobility needs.
