Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Fort Wayne IN
Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay: $26 $30/hour (based on experience)
Type: Contract (through 12/31/2025) On-site
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations at a Fort Wayne production facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic components of industrial equipment including CNC lathes and warm forge presses.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot repair and maintain CNC machines presses and other production equipment.
Install maintain and repair electrical systems components and equipment according to codes and blueprints.
Diagnose electrical malfunctions replace faulty parts and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and electrical blueprints.
Document maintenance activities and parts usage.
Collaborate with technicians engineers and plant personnel to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (knowledge of AC/DC drives servo motors PLCs hydraulics pneumatics and industrial controls).
Ability to read and work from hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and electrical blueprints.
Effective communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to shift needs.
