We are now seeking individuals who will thrive in this type of atmosphere and in line with the continued success of the business and our commitment to being born digital Lockton Re are now looking to recruit this newly-created Salesforce Developer role into our Business Technology team.

Key tasks & duties

• Collaborating with the internal Salesforce team to validate business requirements and any considerations (security scalability limits)and translate them into technical solutions.
• Designing developing and implementing custom solutions using Salesforce technologies like Lightning Web Components Apex (classes and triggers).
• Integrations: Use Mulesoft to integrate with other systems used in the organization.
• Serving as a Subject Matter Expert in Mulesoft technology providing technical leadership and direction and drive innovation by incorporating the latest Mulesoft features.
• Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices maintain code documentation and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
• Collaborating with IT / Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business.
• Day to day support of Salesforce issues and bug fixing.

Whilst we are open on the exact experience and industry background for this Developer role core experience in Salesforce development is essential. Further experience or skills useful to highlight in your application include:

• Salesforce Financial Services Cloud product knowledge and at least 5 years of FSC development experience
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or II
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
• Experience with Salesforce integration tools like MuleSoft.
• Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members
• Preferred additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder Platform Developer II JavaScript Developer I.
