Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location:Brick NJ 08724
Hours: 36 hours/week 12 hours/day 3 days/week
Schedule: 13-week assignment 6:45 PM 7:00 AM weekends and holidays as needed no on-call requirement
Job Summary
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides and administers all aspects of respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment under the supervision of Respiratory Services leadership in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction including education treatment management and diagnostic evaluation for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
Perform intubation assistance ventilator setup and management.
Gather patient information to evaluate needs including disease education testing and consultation with other healthcare professionals.
Develop rapport and mutual respect with patients caregivers and team members to support care goals.
Provide and document patient/caregiver education in an understandable manner.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Lift a minimum of 5 lbs. push/pull a minimum of 5 lbs. and stand at least 1 hour per day.
Maintain regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.

Education & Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Current New Jersey Respiratory Care license.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in New Jersey.
BLS (AHA) ACLS and PALS certifications.
