What Youll Do

As a Hub & Spoke Team Lead at Stanley Black & Decker you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and supporting our commitment to innovation agility inclusivity and integrity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations ensuring timely completion of all waves and efficient workflow management.
• Plan and communicate manpower requirements ensuring balanced workloads and smooth execution of daily plans.
• Lead coach and motivate associates conducting ongoing performance feedback and escalating issues to Supervisors as needed.
• Ensure timely scheduling and completion of loads maintaining up-to-date metric boards and reporting through Excel.
• Champion housekeeping standards ensuring end-of-shift cleaning routines are consistently followed.
• Manage picking label processes including printing separation and coordination with system specialists for printer maintenance.
• Execute replenishments stock transfers wave closures and label management to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Collaborate closely with other Team Leads and departments to maintain optimal product flow and meet operational timelines.
• Support order filling and other warehouse functions as necessary adapting to evolving business needs.
• Respond promptly to communications from Managers Supervisors and peers throughout the day.
• Communicate daily pick metrics and ensure all team members are meeting established standards.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and mandatory end-of-month Saturdays as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support continuous improvement and operational goals.

Who You Are

You are a proactive and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You bring:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent (some college coursework preferred).
• Experience in distribution or warehouse operations with knowledge of facility layouts and product handling.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and accurately with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management System) reporting and display as well as Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to coach and develop team members.
• A flexible schedule with readiness to work overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
• Physical ability to stand walk and lift up to 45 pounds independently with frequent movement throughout the warehouse.

Physical Demands

This role requires regular standing walking lifting and repetitive movement of cartons. You will use a computer mouse and keypad throughout the day with minimal typing. Vision requirements include close screen work and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
