Job Description
CAD Designer
We are seeking a talented and motivated CAD Drafter to join our engineering team. The candidate will play a crucial role in creating detailed technical drawings and schematics for our solar eBOS products. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a passion for renewable energy and a strong foundation in computer-aided design (CAD).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain submittals for both internal and external use.
Develop and update fabrication drawings and documentation in collaboration with engineering production and quality teams.
Manage document control processes to ensure accuracy consistency and accessibility of documents.
Maintain and update the inventory management system ensuring documentation is aligned with actual production and inventory levels.
Ensure all documentation complies with company standards.
Assist in creating and maintaining technical drawings including 2D and 3D models using CAD software.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree in CAD drafting engineering or related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar).
Experience in document control and managing technical documentation.
Strong understanding of fabrication processes and manufacturing documentation requirements.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering production and quality).
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software is a plus.
