Qualification: B.E (Bachelor of Engineering)
Experience Level: 5-8 years
Location: Chennai India
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Tuner Engineer with strong expertise in C Java and Android Framework layer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in software development debugging and optimization with the ability to work on complex system-level components and deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and optimize tuner-related features within the Android framework layer.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate tuner functionality into multimedia and system components.
Debug and resolve performance issues memory management and system stability problems.
Collaborate with product and hardware teams to ensure smooth integration with system architecture.
Write clean maintainable and efficient code in C and Java.
Participate in code reviews system design discussions and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Ensure compliance with performance scalability and reliability requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong programming expertise in C and Java.
In-depth knowledge of Android Framework layer.
Experience with system-level programming and debugging.
Good understanding of multimedia frameworks device drivers or tuner technologies (preferred).
Problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
Knowledge of performance tuning profiling tools and system optimizations.
Familiarity with hardware-software integration in embedded systems.
