Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech. Vishay Duluth is currently seeking applicants for a Operator 1.
Job Location:
This position will be on-site at the Duluth MN facility near Airpark blvd and Haines Road.
What you will be doing:
- Builds electronic components by winding soldering (components and printed circuit boards) crimping masking encapsulating conformal coating and epoxy. - Mechanical and electrical assembly of products.
- Test parts subassemblies and finished goods record results.
- Document test results procedures and materials as needed.
- Use mechanical measuring equipment.
- Partner with engineers and other manufacturing team members to improve efficiency and quality of our products.
- Executes task(s) as directed.
- Reports any failure or dysfunctionality to responsible employees or supervisor.
- Obeys all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned.
What you will bring along:
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills
Attention to detail
Good eyesight
Ability to use a microscope
Ability to set up and operate equipment (winders mold press ovens test equipment)
Soldering Skills (preferred)

Work hours: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
Pay: $19/hr starting pay (additional compensation may be added based on experience)
