Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available and scalable systems ensuring the reliability and performance of the companys engines and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and establish service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for critical systems.
- Monitor systems and applications proactively identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks or availability issues.
- Develop and maintain monitoring tools alerts and dashboards to provide visibility into system health and performance.
- Conduct post-incident analyses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Create and maintain documentation for system architecture configuration and troubleshooting procedures.
- Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement and deploy new features and enhancements ensuring they meet reliability and performance standards.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices new technologies and emerging trends in site reliability engineering.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency by automating manual tasks and processes.
- Actively contribute to internal automation toolset by developing new and improving of existing tools
- Participate in on call rotation
Qualifications:
- 3years ofexperience as aSystem Administratoror related position
- Excellentsystem administration and kubernetes management skills
- 2 years of scripting or development experience
- Understanding of SDLC
- Clear understanding of cloud technologies and offerings from Azure AWS and GCP
- Excellent interpersonal facilitation and communication skills
- Deliver results doing what it takes to get things done on time
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork abilities
- Demonstrated strong written communication and speaking skills
- Fluent in English written/verbal communication
Must have skills:
- Good experiencein writing script inbashand/orPowerShell
- GoodLinuxServer Administrationskills CentOSRedhat;
- WebServers& Databases TomcatApache MSSQLAzure SQLPostgreSQL;
- Experience working with IaaS/Cloud services of GCP(preferred) Azure and/or AWS;
- Understanding of application and IP protocols: TCP/IP UDP DNS HTTP SSL SSH
- Knowledge of standardsprotocolsand data formats: JSON XML REST XML-RPC OAuth SAML
- Experience working withBitBucketGit CVS
- Knowledge of bug tracking and documentation systems such as Jira andConfluence;
- Experience working with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog Prometheus Grafanaetc;
- Solid understanding of API conceptsandtypes;
- Experience working with API manual execution as well as automating by writingscripts;
- Experience writingand optimizingSQLqueries;
- Understanding of subscription-based services subscriptions lifecycle and billing concepts
- Knowledge and understanding of basics of financial terms:ordersAR/AP creditmanagement.
- Abilityto learn and adapt to new services systems and technologies in a dynamic technical infrastructure.
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation:technical and process documentation product requirements documents featurerequests;
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and provide significant contributions both individually and as part of a greater team.
Nice to have skills:
Experience working withCloud Blue Commerce (formerly known asOdin Automation)
PythonAzure LPI Microsoft Postgres MSSQL certifications would be a big plus;
