Job Description Summary
Associate Director Membership is responsible for leading the strategic direction operational excellence and team development of the Membership function at Sandoz. This role ensures accurate and compliant administration of discount agreements member eligibility and system integrity across platforms such as Model N SHAPE and SAP. Position Location:
This position will be located at the Princeton NJ US Headquarters site.
Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.
Major Accountabilities / Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead and develop a high-performing Membership team providing coaching training and performance management
Partner with Market Access & Account Strategy to develop compliant and effective membership methodology & processes
Partner with Strategy Sales and Contracts to support product launches membership analytics & pre-loads
Support contract strategy for Sandoz Biopharma and Sandoz Gx and oversee accurate interpretation and enforcement of contract membership terms
Ensure timely and compliant COT classification process and maintenance of Indirect & Direct membership data across Sandoz systems (SAP ModelN)
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance department efficiency and scalability
Partner with Chargebacks on timely and effective resolution of any disputes
Key Performance Indicators:
Accuracy & timeliness of customer and membership setup
Ability to materialize & drive more sales on Sandoz supplier driven contracts
Successful & profitable roll out of new product launches or contracting / pricing strategies that rely on membership setup
Reduction of Chargeback disputes and write offs
Key Capabilities Required:
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to review contracts and to spot/analyze product trends and variances.
Technical Skills: MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint); SAP reporting knowledge is desirable; Functional knowledge of Model N / Revitas is beneficial.
US Healthcare Knowledge: Understanding of U.S. healthcare industry marketing and sales concepts and practices including knowledge of formulary analysis and Price Volume mix. Knowledge about the U.S. drug reimbursement system involving wholesalers GPOs PBMs CMS and State Medicaid agencies is highly beneficial.

Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience (Required):
B.S./B.A. required
Minimum 2 years work experience in the pharmaceutical industry with membership / financial analytics
Understanding of US healthcare market particularly branded specialty biologics
Demonstrated leadership and strategic agility and analytical expertise
Ability to work cross functionally and drive initiatives that span multiple departments
Preferred Requirements:
Advanced degree

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $119700 $222300 USD/year; however while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25 fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to geographical location experience level knowledge skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a sign-on bonus restricted stock units and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
On September 30 2021 Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations CIA-related deliverables and any relevant audit monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
