Elementary School Counselor Job Description

The Shaker Heights City School District is seeking a Long-Term SubstituteSchool Counselor for our Boulevard Elementary location. You must have the appropriate license from the State Board of Education of Ohio (SBOE) to be considered for this position.

Details:

Pay Rate:$286 - $306 per day after 16 days (based on level of education)
Length of Assignment:December 1 2025 through June 5 2026
Location: Boulevard Elementary (Grades K-5)
Required Licensure: Substitute or Educator Licensure from SBOE School Counselor Licensure preferred
Benefits: After a waiting period of 60-contract days substitute will be eligible for benefits through the District including medical dental sick days and more.
