Job Summary

Seasonal Float:
Middletown Christian Early Learning Center is in search of a Seasonal float. Must enjoy working with children.
Spiritual Maturity:
- Publicly profess a faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Actively engage in the life and ministry of a church as a member.
- Believe and support the schools statement of faith (Statement of Grace Baptist Church).
- Agree to abide by the Lifestyle Statement.
Job Duties:
On the Job Training
- Floats to different classrooms to help teachers as needed.
- Maintain communication with parents.
- Adhere to State of Ohio licensing rules as well as ELC policies.
- Maintain personal professional development which includes 10 clock hours in specialized training. All training will be provided by ELC.
Additional Knowledge Skills and Experience Required:
- Preferred - 2 years of childcare experience.
- Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
- Must be trained within 90 days of hire in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid. All training provided by ELC.
- Ability to work well with others (staff child parents) and to foster a team environment.
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma is a must.
The following is encouraged:
- CDA (Child Development Associate) training is encouraged at some is provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to lift 35 lbs.
Employment Type Benefits:
- Part- time benefits if working 20-34 hours/week include up to 8 days PTO per year and discount at ELC on child care tuition.
