Job Summary

CK Group are recruiting for a Site Services Technician, to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Wyton, on a permanent basis working Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00.

Role

This role supports the effective running of site services, ensuring compliance with health, safety, bio-security and welfare standards, while managing waste, stock, and supplier activities.

Responsibility

Safely load and unload vehicles, manage waste streams, and ensure correct disposal in line with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of waste management suppliers and support internal and external audits.
Receive, store, and transfer supplier products to correct locations with accurate stock control.
Adhere to site restrictions, procedures and biosecurity requirements to maintain safety and security.
Conduct and record daily and weekly checks of site services areas, reporting and arranging repairs where needed.
Safely operate equipment including forklift trucks, ensuring qualifications are up to date.
Supervise and support cleaning, movement of equipment and crate transfers within site services.
Follow all safety instructions, wear appropriate PPE, and report accidents, near misses or equipment issues promptly.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years in a warehousing or site services environment.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade A C) or equivalent qualifications.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills with attention to detail for routine manual work.
Ability to hold maintenance skills, forklift certificate and driving license
Knowledge of waste stream processes, warehousing systems, and preferably qualified in a mechanical trade (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; experience with databases or similar software desirable.
Proven ability in maintenance management or facilities services with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and liaise effectively with contractors and colleagues.
