ADMINISTRATOR/SUPERVISOR MENTORS 2025-2026
General Description and Goals
Administrator/Supervisor Mentors are responsible for the coaching and mentoring of administrators and supervisors who are pursuing professional status in Everett Public Schools. These mentors are key components of the new administrator orientation process supporting them in working towards their professional administrator license. They are responsible for training their assigned mentees in leadership strategies operational processes and district policies necessary to perform their job responsibilities effectively and efficiently. Mentors should be exemplary leaders and employees in their respective buildings.
Mentors will be expected to facilitate and differentiate Mentee meetings based on individual needs.
Number of Positions: 2 Positions District-Wide
Requirements Qualifications:
- Professional administrator or supervisor license.
- Current Everett Public Schools administrator or supervisor.
- Proficient or Exemplary overall rating on most recent summative evaluation.
- Experience using Google Suite Canva and X2 Gradebook.
- Ability to utilize available technology to make completing job requirements more efficient.
- Experience with the implementation of the district HQIM.
- Strong understanding of Massachusetts and federal education laws and regulations including those related to special education (e.g. IDEA) and English Language Learners (ELLs).
- Experience with school improvement planning budget management and staff evaluation.
- Keen understanding of data analysis to support instructional and operational decision-making including interpreting student performance data (e.g. MCAS ACCESS) and school-wide data.
Essential Duties:
- Provide for coaching and mentoring of administrators and supervisors who are pursuing professional status in Everett Public Schools.
- Provide resources for mentees on leadership strategies operational processes and district policies necessary to perform their job responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
- Provide a network of support to help the mentee connect with other administrators colleagues and professional organizations to build their professional network.
- Be available to mentees to support questions and concerns.
- Provide regular informal meetings with mentees throughout the school year.
- Remind mentees of upcoming deadlines and requirements.
- Support mentees in implementing district instructional priority and school improvement goals.
- Problem-solve situations and concerns as they arise.
Pay/Salary-
Up to 40 hours at $40/hour stipend in one payment in June 2026. Please apply directly on Talented.
