The School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies (SIGS) at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 9-month full time and tenure-earning Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics position. The successful candidate will publish original research in the field of Comparative Politics (broadly understood) and teach four courses per year (2/2 semester schedule). The start date of the position will be August 7 2026. Salary is negotiable and dependent upon qualification and experience.

The minimum requirement for this position is adoctoral degree from an accredited institution in Political Science or a closely related from individuals who are ABD will be accepted but the degree must be conferred by appointment start date. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
