This Position reports to:

EL Product Marketing Manager


Key responsibilities

Are you ready to play an active role in shaping the future of energy distribution not in the background but in the middle of it in dialogue with international partners and decision-makers

In this role you will be responsible for implementing product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy. You will be part of the business development team which is solving short-circuit current challenges and increase system availability and safety through active arc protection for our customers world-wide by selling our innovative fault current limiter and internal arc mitigation portfolio.

Its not just about sales figures but about real relationships: They recognize potential build long-term cooperations and accompany projects from vision to implementation.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (#LI-Hybrid)

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Taking full responsibility for marketing activities in your allocated countries including travel activity of around 30%

  • Working closely with customers to solve technical challenges and optimize their electrical grid using our products

  • Design segment-specific solutions based on our portfolio and scale them across the market

  • Conducting presentations and training on our product portfolio to various stakeholders to identify business opportunities

  • Contribution to the launch and refinement of innovative products from our development pipeline

  • Representation of ABB at international trade fairs and conferences

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree in electrical engineering industrial engineering or comparable

  • Several years of experience in the field of Product Marketing Technical Sales or Product Management

  • Demonstrated experience working with electrical systems such as medium and/or low voltage products or switchgear

  • Fluent written and spoken German and English other foreign languages are an advantage

  • Confident handling of MS Office

  • Strong communication skills initiative and enjoyment of networking

  • Willingness to travel internationally and intercultural competence
