The MIG Welder position will be located at our Hidden Lake Facility here in Duncan SC.

Responsibilities

  • Weekend Day Shift welder position (Friday-Sunday 5am-5pm)
  • Weld materials are primarily aluminum
  • Typical operations include welding aluminum tubing to pads using turntable back plates and knobs to brackets hooks to square tubing pads to extrusions etc
  • Weld operator is responsible for all equipment set ups and to perform a proper weld on each part / component.
  • Responsible to complete each discrete jobs by verifying proper material from staged area before welding.
  • Follow weld instructions/requirements from discrete job access drawings from computer system to verify special requirements.
  • Move/deliver product to next operation.

  • Problem Solving ability to diagnose and recommend solutions to resolve issues
  • Detailed able to keep detailed and accurate records
  • Meet production standards for output / efficiency

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Minimum of two years MIG welding experience required
  • Welder certification is a plus
