Roles and Responsibilities
Lead major cross-functional campaigns and pursuits for Avionics programs across Aerospace and adjacent markets.
Identify qualify and develop new business opportunities to drive growth.
Represent Avionics systems product lines to successfully position GE Aerospaces products and services in military and civil markets.
Build and maintain influential relationships with customers at all organizational levels.
Develop detailed customer contact plans to strategically position products and services.
Create and execute opportunity pursuit and capture plans.
Manage the development of complex multi-million-dollar proposal efforts.
Lead or support negotiations to close deals effectively.
Oversee CRM systems to track pursuits and opportunities.
Provide commercial and technical expertise within the Avionics market segment.
Contribute to operating planning and forecasting processes.
Assist in developing and executing an overall growth strategy for Avionics products and services.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace defense or related industries with business development sales marketing commercial operations or program/account management.
Ability to travel 25%-50% as needed to meet job requirements.
Desired Characteristics
Masters degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
Prior experience with aircraft mission/vehicle avionics and subsystems.
Proven success in leading aerospace/defense OEM and DOD pursuits.
Experience managing complex proposals.
Familiarity with aircraft systems and operations.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional influencing and relationship-building abilities.
Sound decision-making and people management skills.
Strong customer focus and results-oriented mindset.
