Job Summary

Our client a global leader in mobility is looking for a Senior Data Scientist Operations Research to join their team in Lisbon.

Tasks

Design and implement advanced Revenue Management systems focusing on dynamic pricing and bid price optimization.

Formulate and solve complex optimization problems (linear nonlinear dynamic stochastic).

Build demand forecasting and willingness-to-pay models using time series and ML techniques.

Develop and maintain robust scalable algorithms integrated into production systems.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering product software).

Provide mentorship and stay updated with the latest research in revenue management operations research and AI.

Requirements

5 years experience in Data Science / Operations Research ideally in car rental airline or hospitality industries.

Proven track record in Revenue Management and pricing strategies.

Strong expertise in mathematical optimization (linear nonlinear integer programming stochastic).

Proficiency in Python and version control systems (e.g. Git).

Solid background in forecasting time series modeling and applied ML.

Masters degree (or higher) in Operations Research Applied Mathematics Statistics or a related field (preferred).
