Job Summary

Registered Nurse- Labor and Delivery (Night Shift)

Location: Beverly MA 01915

Duration: 13-weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (Nights)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Pay Rate: Local-$2520 - Travel-$2808; Depending on experience (negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being.
Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives with deliveries and obstetric procedures.
Administer medications and manage pain relief interventions including epidurals and IV medications.
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Perform fetal monitoring interpret data and respond appropriately to abnormalities.
Support patients and families with education and emotional guidance throughout the birthing process.
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Maintain compliance with hospital policies nursing standards and professional best practices.
Respond quickly and effectively to obstetric emergencies.
Provide postpartum care immediately following delivery.

Requirements:

Current and active Massachusetts RN license (required).
Minimum of 1-2 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience (required).
Current BLS and NRP certifications (required).
ACLS certification (preferred).
Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills.

Experience:

5 years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience required
OR comfortability highly preferred
