Job Summary

Registered Nurse- Critical Care (Contract Role)

Location: Burlington MA 01805

Duration: 13 week

Shift: Night Shift 7PM-7AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $2520 - $2700; (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care in ICU and PCU settings utilizing evidence-based nursing practices.
Monitor and interpret patient vitals and telemetry to make critical decisions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and adjust individualized care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis treatment and care plans.
Document patient assessments interventions and outcomes accurately and timely in EPIC EMR.
Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition initiating appropriate interventions.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Participate in code situations and emergency response as needed.

Requirements:-

Education:

ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) required.
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Licensure & Certifications:

Massachusetts RN License current and active (required).
BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA certified (required).
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA certified (required).

Experience:

2 5 years of recent ICU experience required.
Trauma Level experience highly preferred.
May consider candidates with strong Trauma Level II experience.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
EPIC EMR experience required.
