Job Summary
Fellowship position for new graduate that has successfully passed the Nurse Practioner or Physician Assistant certification process and is seeking dedicated clinical training within a specific field. This position follows current scope of practice for all other Advanced Practice Providers within the Department. Position provides primary health care and performs selective medical services under the direction of Practice physicians.
Required Documentation for Applying:
Accountabilities
- Coordinates all medically appropriate clinical pre/post procedure activities including clinical evaluation and consent medical histories and patient care. - 40%
- Communicates information regarding patient care including procedural orders and notes care plans and discharge summaries. Assists physician in relaying treatment plans to nursing personnel referring physicians and patient/family. 35%
- Provides technical assistance to physician when applicable.- 5%
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor manager director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree -Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
Required Certifications Registrations Licenses
- JOB RELATED CERTIFICATION - COTR
- CPR CERTIFICATION
Knowledge Skills or Abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
- Mathematical skills
- Patient Equip (Vitals Suction Defib)
