Job Description
Job Title : Senior COBOL Mainframe Developer (IBM DB2 JCL MQ-Series Government Taxation Systems)
Location: Albany NY(Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Experience working with a Government Taxation organization including technical design development maintenance and end-user support of Tax and Revenue Accounting Systems.
- Skilled in systems analysis and design for multi-tiered transactional systems.
- Proficient in Java programming within IBM environments using Rational Application Developer (RAD) IDE and deploying applications on WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
- Hands-on experience with IBM AIX DB2 databases including design and maintenance.
- Knowledgeable in IBM MVS JCL for mainframe operations.
- Experience working with IBM MQ-Series for messaging and integration.
- Proficient with TSO (Time Sharing Option) in mainframe environments.
- Experienced with CICS (Customer Information Control System) for transaction processing in mainframes.
- Skilled in COBOL programming within IBM mainframe environments.
- Strong background in preparing technical design specification documents for complex component-based systems.
