JOB TITLE: Solder Assembler - CCA
LOCATION: Oldsmar FL
PAY RATE: $20-25/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: First Shift (Mon Thurs 3:30 PM 2:00 AM EST; OT available on weekends)

Summary:

Perform advanced rework on circuit cards including BGA reballing/replacement QFN/leadless packages high-density connectors fine pitch SMT and through-hole components
Utilize hand and reflow soldering techniques; inspect assemblies under microscope and troubleshoot defects
Support engineering teams by developing/implementing rework procedures and resolving design/manufacturing issues
Perform mechanical assembly (stand-offs spacers adhesives bonding agents alignment of components)
Maintain safety quality and cleanliness standards in work area

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
5 years soldering/rework experience including advanced techniques
Proficiency with soldering equipment (irons stations reflow ovens microscopes X-ray AOI/AXI systems)
Strong hand-eye coordination attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
IPC-610/J-STD and IPC-7711/7721 certification required
Strong computer skills and English reading/writing ability
Must pass medical exam per supplier guidelines
Candidates must have hands-on soldering equipment experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
