Job Summary
Role: ServiceNow Lead Developer
Interview Process: via Teams
Duration of the Contract: until 6/30/26 with extensions possible
Location: Madison WI -Candidates must be WI residents or willing to relocate prior to start date at their own expense
Onsite or Remote 100% remote within the State of WI.
Project details (project overview who the contractor will work with soft skills needed etc.) .We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer to design develop and implement ServiceNow solutions that drive process automation IT service management (ITSM) and enterprise-wide workflows leveraging out of box functionality. The Lead Developer will serve as a technical leader overseeing development best practices mentoring developers and ensuring scalable secure and compliant ServiceNow implementations.
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:
- Hands-on ServiceNow development experience with multiple implementations. (5 years)
- Proven experience as a lead developer or technical lead on ServiceNow projects. (5 years)
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow core modules: Incident Problem Change CMDB Knowledge Service Catalog Request Fulfillment Discovery etc. (5 years)
- Proficiency in JavaScript Glide API REST/SOAP integrations HTML/CSS and AngularJS. (5 years)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies. Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and automated testing in ServiceNow (ATF Jenkins Git).
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and frameworks. Ability to interact with senior leadership and business stakeholders to provide technical guidance.
