Test Engineer

Location: Pontiac (60 70%) / Walled Lake (30 40%)

Role Overview
- Plan coordinate and execute engine and component-level testing for new technologies and products
- Ensure testing meets schedule and cost targets and report results to project leadership
- Support design tasks required to fulfill test requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide feedback and guidance during design assembly and testing phases
- Participate in design and gate reviews
- Support tooling instrumentation and hardware modification for testing
- Prepare and manage test planning documentation and assembly test orders
- Lead test planning and readiness reviews (internal and external)
- Coordinate assigned test resources to achieve objectives
- Collaborate with test methods teams on facility and equipment modifications
- Work closely with project leadership to maintain scope and schedule
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
- 3 5 years of relevant test experience
- Strong project design and manufacturing knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel Project PowerPoint)
- Experience with NX and Teamcenter
- Skilled in Python or other data post-processing tools for large data sets
- Strong mechanical aptitude; turbofan engine knowledge preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated organized and flexible for long-duration testing
- Willingness to travel for third-party facility testing
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
