Job Summary

Test Engineer

ONSITE
Location: Pontiac (60 70%) / Walled Lake (30 40%)

Relocation: Available

Role Overview

Plan coordinate and execute engine and component-level testing for new technologies and products
Ensure testing meets schedule and cost targets and report results to project leadership
Support design tasks required to fulfill test requirements

Key Responsibilities

Provide feedback and guidance during design assembly and testing phases
Participate in design and gate reviews
Support tooling instrumentation and hardware modification for testing
Prepare and manage test planning documentation and assembly test orders
Lead test planning and readiness reviews (internal and external)
Coordinate assigned test resources to achieve objectives
Collaborate with test methods teams on facility and equipment modifications
Work closely with project leadership to maintain scope and schedule

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
3 5 years of relevant test experience
Strong project design and manufacturing knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel Project PowerPoint)
Experience with NX and Teamcenter
Skilled in Python or other data post-processing tools for large data sets
Strong mechanical aptitude; turbofan engine knowledge preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated organized and flexible for long-duration testing
Willingness to travel for third-party facility testing
U.S. citizenship required
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
