Job Summary
Job Summary
- Support sustaining engineering team in understanding products and design/launch processes.
- Demonstrate experience in 3D modeling of parts and assemblies using Creo and Windchill PLM.
- Release build packages for high mix production and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review customer specifications and perform technical analyses to ensure product compliance and robustness.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to performance fit finish and BOM accuracy.
- Design and develop mechanical parts/assemblies for new product development (NPD) including FMEA and performance testing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize products for manufacturability installation and field service.
- Participate in NPD meetings and gate reviews to support project progress.
- Maintain quality by adhering to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize advanced modeling and predictive analysis tools (e.g. FEA CFD) as needed.
- Apply knowledge of HVAC system design thermodynamics fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
- Leverage understanding of lean Six Sigma and project management processes (preferred).
- Use Microsoft Office and possess familiarity with industry regulatory bodies (UL ETL AHRI ASHRAE).
- Preferred: Lean/Six Sigma certification HVAC industry experience electrical/electronics knowledge and understanding of product cost elements.
