Responsibilities
Design implement and maintain scalable secure and reliable cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating build test and deployment processes.
Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring logging and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with development QA and operations teams to align goals and optimize workflows.
Use tools like Ansible Terraform or Chef to manage infrastructure as code (IaC).
Ensure infrastructure and applications adhere to security best practices including vulnerability management.
Diagnose and resolve system and application issues in real time.
Monitor and optimize resource usage to ensure cost efficiency and high availability.
Maintain detailed documentation for processes tools and workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in DevOps or a related role.
years of Working proficiency with AWS Cloud
Experience with creating and setting up Github Actions
7 years plus experience working on Kubernetes based Containers Orchestration Platforms - Openshift preferred
7 years plus experience working with Infrastructure as Code Terraform
Working proficiency with programming languages - golang preferred
Experience setting up or integration with Observability tools (Includes Monitoring Logging Synthetic Tests) like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Splunk. Datadog preferred
Experience with troubleshooting on public cloud infrastructure ( AWS preferred)
Working Knowledge of Postgresql Databases and Cache Engines
7 years plus Experience with Traffic management and routing - F5 setup experience or working proficiency desired
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Azure DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD)
Knowledge of Istio Service mesh is a plus
Experience with microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS Azure or GCP.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash or PowerShell).
Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking.
Familiarity with tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Splunk.
