Key Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and executeissue remediation testingto validate closure of gaps acrossFraudCybersecurity andTechnologydomains.
• Develop and maintainrisk-based test plansaligned with enterprise policies and regulatory expectations.
• Collect assess and validateevidence of remediationto ensure issues are resolved effectively and sustainably.
• Facilitatetesting walkthroughsandreview sessionswith stakeholders to clarify findings and remediation status.
• Create and deliverexecutive-level summary reportsdetailing testing activities outcomes and recommendations.
• Ensuretransparency and alignmentacross stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Review and validate testing performed by peers or other teams to ensureaccuracy completeness andconsistency.
• Identifyrecurring patternssystemic gaps andopportunities for control enhancement.
• Contribute tocontinuous improvementof testing methodologies and control frameworks.

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of experienceinAudit Control Testing orRisk AssurancewithinGovernance Risk and Compliance (GRC)frameworks.
• 5 years expertise within Fraud or Cyber domains on reviewing and assessing control gaps defining test scripts and executing on them to validate the closure of gaps
• 5 yrs Fraud Operations audit/control testingCybersecurity Assessments orCyber Security Testingin Identity & Access Management (IAM)Platform SecurityEnterprise Access Management)
• Proven ability todesign execute and manage end-to-end test plansacross multiple domains.
• Strong experience inIssue RemediationRoot Cause Analysis andRisk Mitigation ideally withinfinancial servicesor regulated financial services environments (e.g. BMO or similar).
• Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues acrossFraudCybersecurityand Technology.
• Exceptionalreport writingdocumentation andpresentation skillstailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellentstakeholder engagementinfluencing andcross-functional collaborationcapabilities.
• Proficiency inMicrosoft ExcelPowerPoint and familiarity withGRC platforms(e.g. Archer ServiceNow GRC MetricStream).

Executes testing to provide insights and recommendations on test results findings identified issues re-performance testing and continuous improvement insights. Executes testing monitoring and operational activities of various complexity based on assigned portfolio ensuring adherences to established service levels and standards.

• Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal & external business partners/stakeholders to execute work and fulfill service delivery expectations.
• Participates in planning and implementation of operational testing programs and executes within required service level agreements and standards.

• Ensures consistent high quality practices/work and the achievement of business results in alignment with business/group strategies and with productivity goals.
• Analyzes root causes of any errors discovered to provide for effective communication of issues to appropriate parties.
• Creates and maintains adequate testing support documentation such as workpapers testing reports etc. to support the results of reviews including the write-up of findings/issues for reporting.
• Provides ongoing support to the continuous improvement process of the business unit.
• Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader enterprise-wide focus.
• Provides specialized consulting analytical and technical support.
• Exercises judgment to identify diagnose and solve problems within given rules.

Qualifications:

• Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General understanding of the business units risk and regulatory requirements.
• Good understanding of control frameworks and audit methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of process and/or project management.
• Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.
