What Youll do:

Groundswell is looking for experiencedSenior Appian Consultantsto provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. Senior Appian Consultants help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our clients architecture. Architects mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business.

Our Appian practice is led by Appian alumni with decades of total experience delivering mission-critical Appian solutions at scale leveraging our award-winning solutions component libraries and foundations. Every day youll be teaming up with a diverse enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team of creative minds with a smart sense of humor.

What Youll Be Working On:

• Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies

• Supports design development and test activities

• Guide clients on architecture design configuration management DevSecOps and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success

• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance

• Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement

• Provide thought leadership on process improvement

• Support internal solutions infrastructure and tools

• Mentorship training and enablement of resources

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience with Appian solutions

• 5 years of related IT experience

• Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science Information Systems Systems Engineering or related area

• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification

• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology

• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight

• Strong organizational skills attention to detail ability to work in a high-paced environment multi-task (prioritize and manage) and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy professionalism and a do whatever it takes attitude)

• This is a hybrid position (on-site McLean VA / remote)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship)

• Possess an Active Clearance or candidate must be clearable

Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required:

• Appian

• RDBMS (e.g. Oracle SQL Server MySQL/MariaDB)

• Web services Integrations and Middleware (e.g. RESTful/SOAP Mule/IIB/Fusion)

Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A PLUS:

• Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud)

• Authentication (e.g. SAML Kerberos OAuth LDAP)

• Data management and data visualization/BI

• DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management

• Machine Learning Artificial Intelligence

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
