Senior Executive Officer / Executive Officer ()
TheSchool of Creative Arts (SCA) comprised of three well-established academic units: theAcademy of FilmtheAcademy of Music andtheAcademy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1 2022 SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies.
The School is now seeking a high-calibre dedicated mature and self-motivated individual to join the Deans Office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the academic programme administration including student recruitment admissions quality assurance student records maintenancecourse and examination scheduling teaching assignment committee work student-related matters;
- Organise school-wideand programme-related meetings activities and events;
- Contribute to day-to day operations including preparing reports and proposals while managing records effectively;
- Organise and coordinate University-level and School-based events such as seminars study tours colloquiums and workshops;
- Provide support for office administration including processing purchasing requisitions for the School;
- Liaising with internal and external units/ parties; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in higher education institutions;
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Meticulousness good interpersonal and problem-solving skills attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team; and
- Proficiency incomputer applications including MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Chinese Wordare required.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written/skills assessment.
Applicants with less relevant work experience may be considered for the post of Executive Officer.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
