The Opportunity

TECKpert seeks an IT Demand Managerto support our client a government agency in Tallahassee FL. This consultant will act as the primary liaison between IT and business units managing IT demand facilitating collaboration and ensuring business needs are translated into effective technical solutions.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Lead business requirements gathering through interviews workshops and analysis.
Serve as IT demand manager maintaining a pipeline of IT requests and initiatives.
Assess and prioritize demands by urgency complexity and alignment with strategic goals.
Develop business cases process documentation and user guides.
Conduct business needs assessments and guide solution design processes.
Implement feedback and continuous improvement processes.
Produce daily/weekly reports and dashboards on demand management activities.
Negotiate deliverables across business units to ensure successful outcomes.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams vendors and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to IT governance compliance and financial management standards.

Compensation and Term

This opportunity is for a full-time contract position with possibleextensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $135000per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

Qualifications you need

A successful candidatehas the following experience:

Bachelors in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration Communications or related field.
7 years of combined IT and business experience.
3 years in business analysis project management or IT planning.
Proven ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL COBIT).
Experience with project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall).
Knowledge of IT infrastructure systems architecture and emerging technologies.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Excellent communication facilitation and negotiation skills.
PMP CBAP or ITIL certification preferred.
