Summary of Job Duties:

This is a 12-month full-time faculty position with non-tenure or tenure-track options. The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the undergraduate programs and engage in the College of Nursings scholarship and service missions


Qualifications:

  • Masters or higher nursing degree with nursing experience.
  • Current unencumbered RN or advanced practice nursing license with eligibility for licensure in Arkansas
  • Adult medical/surgical nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree PLUS three (3) years of teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program


    Additional Information:

    • Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in the Undergraduate BSN program.
    • Utilize innovative teaching strategies including simulation and concept-based learning.
    • Engage in scholarly activities research and evidence-based teaching practices.
    • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
    • Participate in college university and professional service activities.

    This position is a Designated Research Position and is regulated by the Arkansas Research Education Protection Act of 2025. Prior to issuance of an offer of employment the University is required to request and obtain additional information about an applicants background and if required conduct an additional review of that background information.
