Summary of Job Duties:
This is a 12-month full-time faculty position with non-tenure or tenure-track options. The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the undergraduate programs and engage in the College of Nursings scholarship and service missions
Qualifications:
- Masters or higher nursing degree with nursing experience.
- Current unencumbered RN or advanced practice nursing license with eligibility for licensure in Arkansas
- Adult medical/surgical nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree PLUS three (3) years of teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program
Additional Information:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in the Undergraduate BSN program.
- Utilize innovative teaching strategies including simulation and concept-based learning.
- Engage in scholarly activities research and evidence-based teaching practices.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Participate in college university and professional service activities.
This position is a Designated Research Position and is regulated by the Arkansas Research Education Protection Act of 2025.
