Position Overview

An Owasso-based manufacturing company is seeking a Laser Operator to support laser cutting operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves machine setup material handling and post-processing tasks to ensure efficient and accurate production of metal components. The Laser Operator must be detail-oriented safety-minded and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload sheet metal and other materials onto laser cutting machines.
Assist with machine setup calibration and operation.
Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
Perform deburring cleaning and sorting of laser-cut components.
Organize and label parts for downstream processes or shipping.
Monitor material usage and report shortages or defects to supervisors.
Maintain a clean safe work area and follow all company safety protocols.
Communicate equipment concerns and troubleshoot minor issues as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in metal fabrication and laser cutting processes.
Ability to read a tape measure calipers and precision measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
Reliable punctual and able to work independently.
