Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Brake Press Helper to join a Tulsa-based fabrication shop. This role supports operations around a 40-foot brake press assisting operators and ensuring production runs smoothly. The Brake Press Helper position is perfect for someone with strong stamina a sharp eye for detail and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist brake press operators with material handling and setup.
- Accurately measure raw materials and finished parts using a tape measure.
- Lift carry and position heavy metal components (up to 80 lbs).
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.
- Follow all PPE and safety requirements at all times.
- Support team members with general shop duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to keep workflow efficient.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret measurements with precision.
- Comfortable repeatedly lifting and maneuvering heavy materials.
- Previous experience in a fabrication or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Dependable punctual and willing to learn.
