Job Summary
Start Em Young - YogaGrades 5-8Two days per week. TBD 20 hr. clubREPORTS TO: Principal and Assistant PrincipalSUPERVISES: Supervises students assigned to her/him and assumes supervising control over all students in program when such control is GOAL: To provide an enjoyable and safe yoga experience for students in grades 1-4 while they learn the yoga fundamentals skills and form. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Determines discipline delineates procedures concerning due process when the enforcement of discipline is necessary. Contacts parents when student is dropped or becomes ineligible.2. Guides a group of students emphasizing skill development proper form/technique and fun. 3. Preside over activities including all scheduled yoga sessions parent communication and parent pick up4. Be responsible for equipment. 5. Work to establish and improve student unity and spirit. 6. Assists in the necessary preparation to hold scheduled sessions and adheres to school schedules.7. Provides documentation to fulfill state and system requirements concerning physicalexaminations parental consent and eligibility.8. Other duties as requested.
