What you bring to SBHG:

• Masters degree in social work marriage & family therapy or psychology from an accredited college or university required.

• (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting is required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).

• Experience in a community-based therapy setting preferred.

• Mental Health Specialist II: Licensed as AMFT ACSW or APCC LMFT LPCC LCSW required.

• Valid California Drivers License required.

How you will make a difference:

• Identifies immediate risks and needs and develops a plan to address them in collaboration with the treatment team.

• Identifies ongoing treatment needs and develops plans diagnoses and updates problem lists as needed.

• Facilitate treatment team meetings.

• Uses a whatever it takes approach to provide services in various settings including homes schools/work and community and office settings.

• Uses a personal vehicle to drive to and from off-site locations to provide services. May be required to transport participants in a personal vehicle.

• Available for 24/7 on-call services to assist in crisis intervention and to provide support for problem resolution. On-call is scheduled on a rotating basis.

• Documents all services provided clearly and concisely within the Electronic Health Record within the timelines and framework established by Central Star.

• In collaboration with the team complete all required reports and documentation for regulatory bodies.
