Job Duties:
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures including CT X-Ray Fluoroscopy and C-arm. Applies principles of radiation protection. Exercises professional and ethical judgement in the performance of procedures. Provides exceptional patient care. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures.
Skills and Abilities:
- Competency in components of radiography practice as appropriate
- Demonstrated ability to assess and observe patients
- Read and interpret radiology reports and requisitions
Education:
- Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program or equivalent
Experience:
- 2 years of work experience in additional modality; preferably in a hospital setting
Licenses/Certifications:
- Washington State License Required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or equivalent
- Current American Heart Associations BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period
