The Technical and Business Operations Team Lead will oversee the media operations team in Pune supporting Vubiquitys global operations. This individual will help to design deploy and operate workflows that interface with service groups currently located in Cyprus London Toronto and Los Angeles. The team Lead must drive operational excellence and ensure tasks are performed at the highest standards to meet the needs of Vubiquitys clients across top tier studio and network business.

What will your job look like

Key Responsibilities

• • Track team hours maintain the team schedule identifying staffing level requirements and overall responsibility for hiring and performance management.
  • Organize and lead training across such activities as:
    • Audio Video and subtitle QC
    • Asset conformance
    • Graphics sizing and positioning
    • Time Text Editing
    • Media data management
  • Manage motivate and encourage teams to maximize performance and achieve departmental objectives.
  • Lead a root cause analysis and provide final reports and document mitigation plans to ensure future defects do not occur
  • Collect and process requirements from regional operations and build SOPs for team.
  • Lead recurring daily teams meetings weekly project meeting and report outs and provide executive updates.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the high-level business priorities issues and challenges of stakeholders throughout the operation to enable you to challenge the status quo and bring new professional insight and experience into existing issues initiatives and projects.
  • Working with the Sales & Account teams to ensure new revenue streams are clearly identified and to oversee delivery of new services.

All you need is...

• 6 years of relevant industry experience
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 5 years of media operations experience across linear VOD or OTT servicing
• 3 years experience managing people with a proven leadership quality with line-management experience.
• Deep understanding video/audio CODECs such as MPEG-2/MPEG-4 h.264/h.265 ProRes J2K/IMF and associated processing workflows
• Exemplary attention-to-detail with hands-on approach where required.
• Proven influencer with experience in a management position within a fast paced or frequently changing environment.
• Outstanding communication skills including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results.
• Ability to establish and develop relationships with peers and the business.
• Excellent time management skills to meet business deadlines.
• Highly responsible and self-motivated able to thrive in an energetic fast paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Highly proficient in Power Point Excel Word Outlook
