Responsibilities:

• Research market needs and consumer motivations in the make-up industry focusing on on-demand color cosmetic mixing technologies.
• Participate in concept generation idea sketching and brainstorming sessions to develop product directions.
• Able to construct the 3D model and conduct prototype making for presenting looks like and works like sample for show case and demonstration.
• Assess and give recommendation on the product design and manufacturing technology from factories.
• Develop mobile (Android/iOS) and/or web applications for controlling and monitoring smart devices.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to integrate app interfaces with sensors actuators and embedded controllers such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
• Write and debug code that communicates with hardware via Bluetooth WiFi or USB.
• Participate in rapid prototyping device testing and iterative product development.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation for both software and hardware interactions.
• Conduct factory evaluation/development to ensure the suppliers comply with the company standards and customers requirements based on the processes and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Packaging Material or related discipline.
• Familiar the trends and solid experience in Cosmetic Makeup Industry
• 5-10 years experience in manufacturing or project management in sizeable or multinational manufacturer or buying office of which 2 years at managerial position.
• Hands on possess analytical and trouble shooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping methods such as Arduino for control simulation and Raspberry Pi (or similar devices) for data acquisition.
• Experience in consumer electronics beauty technology or innovative hardware projects is an advantage.
• Have better understanding the consumption behaviors aspirations and challenges of consumers.
• Have great interesting for applying new technology into cosmetics device.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with supplier customer and internal dept.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Fluent English
