Senior Embedded Linux Security Developer
Lumentum is looking for a senior embedded security developer to play a leading role in the development of software for a new generation of leading edge optical communication products.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to define new product requirements.
- Document and review requirements and designs with peers and stake holders.
- Develop and maintain embedded optical module software.
- Document review and execute designer test cases.
- Provide support throughout the software and product verification cycle.
- Troubleshoot low level software issues.
- Participate in code inspections.
- Provide guidance to and share technical expertise with more junior members of the software team.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of embedded C/C development experience.
- Solid understanding of multi-threaded software design.
- Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem solving troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Source code control (Git Subversion).
Assets:
- Embedded Linux software design and development experience on an x86-based platform.
- Experience working on network security interface implementation (Authorization Accounting Certificate Access ssh certificates/keys).
- Experience with Intel BootGuard and UEFI Secure Boot.
- Familiarity with x86 BIOS/UEFI concepts and configuration in an embedded Linux development environment.
- Secure Zero Touch Provisioning (sZTP) BootZ
- Experience interfacing to embedded devices via interfaces such as PCIe I2C SPI dual port RAM RS-232.
