**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Personal Care Support:** Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing grooming dressing toileting and meal preparation.
- **Mobility Assistance:** Aid clients in moving around safely using mobility aids if necessary and ensure they are comfortable and secure.
- **Companionship:** Provide emotional support and companionship to clients encouraging social interaction and engagement in activities.
- **Health Monitoring:** Regularly check and report changes in clients conditions (e.g. mobility mood health) ensuring communication with staff as necessary.
- **Light Housekeeping:** Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry tidying up and ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
- **Medication Reminders:** Assist clients in adhering to their prescribed medication schedules and maintaining medication lists.
- **Communication:** Maintain clear and open communication with clients families and healthcare providers regarding care plans and progress.
- **Documentation:** Accurately document services provided including daily care notes and any significant changes in clients conditions.
- **Respect for Privacy:** Uphold the dignity and privacy of clients at all times maintaining confidentiality and respect for their personal space and preferences.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in personal care or healthcare is a plus.
- Previous experience in personal care healthcare or a related field preferred.
- Certification as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) or similar credential is desirable.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform tasks required in the role.
- Adequate knowledge of safety and hygiene protocols.
