About the Role
As aBMET youll perform advanced-level service repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide range of medical equipment. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams guide junior technicians and coordinate vendor-supported technical projectsall in a setting where innovation and patient safety are the top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Duties
Troubleshoot repair and calibrate complex medical and clinical equipment
Conduct preventive maintenance and installations of new systems
Evaluate demonstration units and submit detailed performance reports
Provide in-service education on medical equipment operation and safety
Analyze equipment failures and document root causes to prevent future issues
Administrative Duties
Manage accurate service documentation using Clinical Engineering systems
Coordinate technical projects and field assignments with other BMETs
Collaborate with vendors and support departments across the organization
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through training and independent research
Assist with on-call emergency service as per rotation
Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering 2 years of relevant experienceOR
Associates in Biomedical/Electronics/Computer Tech 4 years experience
Solid understanding of electronics pneumatics hydraulics and medical sciences
ICC Certification a plus
Must be able to lift and handle equipment safely
Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
Schedule
Day shifts with occasional flexibility for equipment access and emergency support
