An experienced and energetic leader with demonstrated success in fostering innovation who can lead cross-functional teams build high-performance cultures and drive efficiencies to ensure best outcomes for the people we support. You are an excellent communicator who values collaboration and diverse perspectives. You will have strong professional and personal ethics and the ability to lead with care and compassion.
What you will need to have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in the business or commercial management field
Experience at a senior management level including staff management
Proven track record of successful operational leadership in the health or social services sector
Knowledge of Te Ao Māori
A sound business acumen including experience with managing budgets and financial planning relevant to specific areas of a business
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of health and social services regulations and compliance requirements
Skills and experience to lead both Kaupapa Māori services and services for people of diversity
He kōrero mō te tūranga The Role
The newly created role focuses on strategic planning to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness with a forward-looking approach to planning for the month-to-year timeframe. You will work closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team to drive performance manage risk and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Oversee the day-to-day operations ensuring high quality and efficient service delivery aligned with our organisational values
Drive strategic initiatives and support the CEO and SMT in achieving the organisations goals
Systems optimization and strengthening processes to support growth and sustainability
Develop implement and test compliance protocols to ensure systems adhere to all relevant health and safety and regulatory requirements.
