As the intern you will work with a team of people who are passionate about audio and delivering the best possible user experience. You will drive a transducer design and development collaborating with our manufacturing partners to mock-up samples and test them. The role involves linear and non-linear computer simulation of electromagnetic acoustics and structural mechanics. You will optimize each design aspect for our custom transducers and work with other multi-functional teams to deliver an extraordinary audio experience to millions.
- Masters degree or equivalent experience in Acoustics/Mechanical vibration or a related field
- Understand the fundamentals of Acoustics (such as sound waves propagation sound fields etc.)
- Familiar with the structure and theory of speakers/transducers.
- Skilled with finite element modeling simulation (can be COMSOL ANSYS or similar)
- Experience with 3D solid modeling and meshing tools
- Good interpersonal skills with both English and Mandarin
- Experience with the speaker components and materials assembly techniques and process together with their integration into products.
- Has knowledge of lumped-parameter simulation methods and tools as implemented in either equivalent circuit simulators or System Dynamics simulators(MATLAB and Simulink).
- Has working experience with Speaker LPM and nonlinear parameters measurement systems like Klippel.
- Familiar with audio signal processing and digital signal processing.
