This Position reports to:
Sales Operations ManagerIn this role you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology determining costs and preparing final documentation.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Offers technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Specialists with regard to ABB products/systems/ applications.
Provides technical support during technical meetings product presentations and negotiations.
Supports proposal development with local sales unit and help from global sales specialists/product managers
Lead demonstration of technical solutions and project value propositions in a concise form that resonates with customer senior management.
Ensures budget (volumes) and profitable growth targets are achieved in US; ensures achievement of targets on orders net price variance (NPV) Net Promoter Score (NPS).

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering business or related field and 10 years of experience in automation and control of chemical/ oil & gas/ utilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Expert knowledge in Automation solution for DCS
Expert knowledge of communication protocols encountered in the automation space
Knowledge of digital applications in industry
Demonstratable effective communication with sales sales management product managers business drivers and customers to help drive a solution to a specific customer request.
Ability to learn and apply varying technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
Able to interpret customer requests with various level of detail to formulate an ABB solution and path forward.
Can set priorities and solicit support as required to meet deadlines.
Able to identify risks and propose mitigation plan
Some travel may be necessary (25-30%).
Individual must be able to demonstrate initiative and motivation to achieve the results with minimal supervision
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
