You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe User Acceptance Tester (UAT) is responsible for validating that software applications and systems meet business requirements and end-user expectations prior to deployment. The UAT will develop and execute test cases document defects and collaborate with business analysts developers and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality user-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Review business requirements functional specifications and design documents to understand application features and user needs.
Develop document and execute comprehensive UAT test plans and test cases.
Perform end-to-end testing of software applications to ensure functionality usability and compliance with business requirements.
Identify document and communicate defects and inconsistencies working with technical teams to facilitate resolution.
Participate in test planning requirement reviews and status meetings.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to validate that delivered solutions meet expectations.
Provide feedback and recommendations for process and system improvements.
Prepare and present test results status reports and acceptance sign-off documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or related field preferred.
2 years of experience in user acceptance testing quality assurance or software testing.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with test management tools (e.g. Jira Quality Center TestRail) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Hourly Pay Rate:
$28.00 - $40.00 per hour
(Rate may vary based on experience education.)
